The app every woman should have ♥

I just wanted to share something that i've been using for a year
Every girl needs to know about this app. It's called "period tracker" and should be available on all android phones. It works out when your next period is due by taking the averages of your last 3 periods. It's a bit sketchy in the beginning but surprisingly accurate after a few months.

It also tracks how many days your cycles have been. You can add your moods and symptoms such as backpains, cravings etc. The cutest thing about this app is that you can add the days you have been erm...intimate, and it will show up on the calendar with a little heart. This app also tells you the days that you are most fertile the day of your ovulation. So this app is perfect For those who are looking to conceive, or keep track of  feminine body changes. I don't know who invented this app but they sure do deserve a medal.

Bodyshop-Rainforest shampoo ♥

I'd like to share this shampoo with you because of the wonders that it has done for my hair. It is perfect for those who like organic or chemical free products. This shampoo is specifically designed to provide moisture to dry hair. It has no sulphates, silicones, or any of that crap that is damaging to hair. I personally think that organic products are the way forward when it comes to hair or skin. It's a very thick consistency so I find that it is extra good at tackling frizz. Not to mention that it smells really fresh...kind of like sweet leaves. So the scent really does live up to the product name.

Greek Souvenirs♥

I love anything with culture, and Greece is practically the cultural king of Europe. So I got my hands on plenty of things that can't be found in England.

Evil eye is a common symbol in Turkey & Greece. It's kind of like protection  from jealousy .

Food...olives are Greece's national food, some spices for chicken & fish, Greek chewing gum, Greek sweets

Handmade real Leather sandals and bag
Olive oil straight from the olive trees ! sure you can buy it from England but the amount of s*** they chemicalise it with and for £5 a bottle...no thanks.

Pretty in Pink- Spring lookbook♥

good day ladies,
well the weather should be improving soon so we can hope to pull out some cute outfits.
This lookbook is for more of a classy/formal spring look. This outfit would be perfect for something like a lunch date. I personally would never wear pastel colours but I love the way they look.
All of the items of this lookbook are from Topshop.

Happy spring

International Woman's Day- 8th March ♥

INTERNATIONAL WOMAN'S DAY

Some of the reasons you should be proud to be a woman...

  And these are some more...

Even though most of us are fortunate to be given opportunities as woman...it's not the same in Every country. In many non-western societies women are given no respect or recognition of their existence.

My view on university/College♥

I think it's time to be a bit old school and do the good old "diary post" every now and then. I thought it would be a good idea to express my thoughts on university so far. I'm halfway through my degree in International Tourism Management, and should be graduating next year. I'm determined to use this degree to become an airline manager.

University so far has been a bit of a weird experience.

Well at this point, I do not feel that I have gained much from uni education wise or development wise. The fees have risen to £9,000 a year but the quality of education certainly hasn't. I can't speak for everyone because maybe it is just my uni or the degree programme. I feel that the lectures don't actually teach me anything. I swear to god I could miss a whole semester, submit an essay, and still get at least a 2:1. Theres a few girls on my course who literally only turn up to around 1 lecture a month. Guess what....they still pass everything. But I will congratulate the business units though. Modules such as consumer behaviour and marketing theory, have actually taught me something useful. You get to study theories that will apply to any type of business in the world of work.

development wise I think it would really help people that live out. But for me I commute and have my own apartment anyway. So for this reason I already have the independence that people try to gain at uni. If i'm honest I just go to uni so that I dont get failed for my attendance. A few other people on my course have said the same thing...so i guess i'm not the only one who doesn't see the lectures as useful. Actually scrap that...all of my friends from other uni's have said that they hate it and can't wait to finish. I have a friend "R" who is a very outgoing party girl, and I was surprised when even she said that she hates uni. The main reason i'm sticking at it is to get my degree, and widen my job prospects. Despite this negative experience of uni, I'm still considering going for a masters degree in the future. I'm an ambitious person and always have been. For that reason I am confident that I will achieve something good in life.

Fieldtrip Essentials♥

I suppose those that are in high school or university/college will go on at least one field trip. My degree is actually hosting an overseas  trip in 2 weeks to Greece. So I decided to post some of the things that are pretty much essential...

          1. Nike Running Shoes are one of the most comfortable inventions. It's likely that you will spend the trip doing a lot of walking and researching. So on that note these shoes are a pretty much must have.

2. A watch is also very important. If you are travelling to a different time zone, you certainly do not want to keep taking your phone out and risk getting pick pocketed. The watch featured above is by Kate Spade.

3. GHD Hair straighteners. If your a million miles from home, keeping those locks in shape should be a top priority. You may not have all your best products with you, but quality straighteners are a big help.

4. Umbrella ella ella...okay no that was a very bad attempt at a joke. But you really do need to be prepared for any rain that could destroy your hair. The umbrella featured above is by Victoria Secret.

5. Caudalie beauty elixir is a great product for refreshing your makeup and face during tired periods. It leaves a refreshing minty feel lingering on your face.

Clinique-bottom lash mascara review♥

        Clinique bottom lash mascara review
Okay so I've seen this product advertised on many beauty blogs. I am evidently not a beauty expert, but I do reviews to present my opinion on products. I decided to try it out and see  what all the fuss was about. It is actually a very good product.   The bristles on the brush are very small and compact. This means that it is very easy to apply the mascara without leaving any clumps. The downside that I have found with this product is  that it is NOT easy to remove. For that reason I only choose to   use it on special occasions. Our bottom lashes are of very few,  and are delicate! Now I don't know about you ladies, but I for   sure do not want to risk ripping off the very few bottom  lashes that humans are blessed with. Overall it is worth it for occasional use and it's not too expensive at about £15.00.
